Match Preview – 12th Match: Nutmeg Warriors vs Clove Challengers
Nutmeg Warriors and Clove Challengers are both in search of a win after losing their 2nd match of the tournament.
In the Spotlight
Nutmeg Warriors will be hoping for a better all-round performance as they look to get back to winning ways. The bowling has not been penetrative and would be looking for someone other than the captain to lead the way with the ball. In the last game Akeem Alexis and Seandell Regis shared a 50-run partnership for the 2nd wicket and would be encouraging to the team to see other batsmen that Fletcher play a leading role.
Batting has been a challenge for the Challengers so far in the tournament and will be hoping to get it right in match 4, none of the top order batsmen have been able to make any significant contributions with the bat, the intention is that one of the batters in the top order lead the way in putting runs on the board. The bowlers have been consistent throughout the tournament, however the lack of runs to play with have negated their effectiveness.
Weather
Conditions will be partly sunny tomorrow and a good day for cricket.
Pitch Conditions
Another good day for batting is predicted on a good track which has provided limited assistance to the bowlers.
