Cinnamon Pacers produced another good performance built around a 106 runs partnership between openers Heron Campbell and Alick Athanaze. Athanaze was in full flow and smashed the ball to all corners of the national cricket stadium, he finished not out on 78, which included 6 sixes and 6 fours in 39 balls. He was able supported by Heron Campbell who scored 30 of 21 balls which included 4 fours and 1 six. The deep and talented Strikers bowling attacked had no answers for the onslaught of the Pacers, John Olive was the only bowler with an economy rate of under 10.

Cinnamon Pacers were able to pick up wickets at regular intervals which hampered any momentum of the Strikers in their attempt to overall the target. Wicket Keeper batsman Lendon Lawrence top scored with 32 of 16 balls which included 2 fours and 3 sixes. Some big hitting from Shermon Lewis (24 from 10 balls) only managed to narrow the margin of defeat. The spinners of Cinnamon pacers were their most effective, Kenroy Peters had figures of 3-23 and the Chard Charles 2-20.
