Ginger Generals responded well being asked to bat first they posted 120/5 of their allotment of overs. Wavell Benjamin promoted to opening the batting led the way for the Generals with a knock of 53 from 26 balls which included 7 fours and 2 sixes. Roland Cato was the second major contributor with 43 from 19 balls with 6 sixes. Andre Fletcher was able to slow down the Generals in the middle overs finishing with 2-10 from his two overs.
Another of the Generals, Nicklaus Redhead led the charge in the field, he finished with figures of 4-23 from his two overs and picked up the prized wicket of Andre Fletcher bowled for 10. Redhead also accounted for the wickets for Darel Cyrus, Donald Mc Donald and the innings top scorer Akeem Alexis for 38. Seandell Regis was the only other batsman to offer any major resistance with 29 and shared in a 57 runs partnership for the second wicket with Alexis.
