Clove Challengers won the toss and chose to field
Nutmeg Warriors posted 118 of their 10 overs, which was built around two good knocks from their openers Andre Fletcher and Seandell Regis. Fletcher did the early damage scoring 45 from 16 balls which was littered with boundaries, 4 fours and 4 sixes. Fletcher was the first man dismissed with the score on 75 inside the 6th over. Regis took over the scoring responsibilities and made 44 from 29 balls which was built around 5 maximums. Darron Nedd 1-6 and Tiron Charles 1-16 was the wicket takers.
Clove Challengers innings went right down to the last ball as tournament debutant Imran Joseph pulled his brother Sheldon Joseph through square leg for 4 to secure victory for his team by 8 wickets. The struggling Challengers batting sent in a new opening pair (Denroy Charles and Darren Nedd) who put together 41 runs for the first wicket. Charles was the first dismissed for 21 and Teddy Bishop batting at number 3 scored 22 of 14 balls. Darron Nedd finished unbeaten on 51 which consisted of 3 fours and 5 sixes. Imran Joseph finished of the match with 17 runs of 7 balls to help his team to their second victory.
