Saffron Strikers posted a competitive 120 from their 10 overs, the innings started off slowly as only 9 runs was taken from the first two overs. Lendon Lawrence changed gears as she smashed the 3rd over bowler by Kenroy Peters for 27 to give the innings momentum. The 5th over of the innings went for the same amount as LeVaughn Lewis bowler a horror over. Lawrence fell for 48 off 21 balls which included 5 massive sixes, his opening partner finished not out on 47 from 26 balls hitting 5 sixes in the process. Reuel Williams 3-13 was able to the most successful bowler for Cinnamon Pacers.
Cinnamon Pacers will be disappointed to fall 3 runs short as they needed 20 runs from the final 2 overs to win. The chase was set up by opener Heron Campbell who smashed 54 from 25 balls, he got dismissed with the 2nd ball of the final over. Kenroy Peters made 21 to keep his team in the chase but got dismissed one ball after Campbell. The final over bowled by John Olive went for 10 with 3 wickets falling. Ryan bowled well conceding 11 from his two overs and picking up the important wicket of Alick Athanaze.
