The finalist from the first edition of the Spice Isle T10 tournament will meet in match 14 of the tournament. The Nutmeg Warriors will be looking to record their 4th victory in their 5th match will the Cinnamon Pacers will be hoping to record their 2nd victory in their 5th match.
The Nutmeg Warriors have enjoyed early success in the tournament and is entering this match on the back of a comprehensive 5 wicket victory against Clove Challengers. The Nutmeg Warriors have two bowlers Darel Cyrus (8) and Haston Jackson (5) among the leading wicket takers in the tournament. Despite the absence of Keron Cottoy from the previous, they were able to bowl out the Clove Challengers for 78.
The Warriors top order has been in good form with Both Andrew Fletcher (114) and Seandell Regis (95) among the leading runs scorers in the tournament. The Warriors will be expecting their opening pair to get them off to another good start and to put early pressure on the bowling attack of the Cinnamon Pacers.
The Cinnamon Pacers batting have failed them on 3 previous occasions in the tournament, they have registered three sub 100 scores along with recording the two lowest scores of the tournament. The Pacers will be banking on their top three of Alick Athanaze, Desron Maloney and Javed Hazzard to do the bulk of the scoring if they are to complete against the bowling attack of the Cinnamon Pacers.
The bowlers of the Cinnamon Pacers have not had much of a score to work with in three of their matches to date and has suffered loop sided loses in all those matches as a result. Their bowlers will be up against a difficult matchup with the Warriors and will be hoping for early success to place the powerful warriors batting line up under pressure.
