Bayleaf Blasters have another bite at the Cherry on their quest to book a spot in the grand finale, Ginger Generals who brushed aside the Saffron Strikers with relative ease to reach this second qualifier.

The Bayleaf Blasters who fell short by 8 runs in the first qualifier will be seeking more urgency from their batters at the top of the innings. Kavem Hodge who is among the leading run scorers in the tournament will be hoping to return among the runs in this important match.

The Bayleaf Blasters bowling continues to deliver for them in the tournament and will be hoping for the same if the team is to make it to the championship match. The experienced duo of Shermon Lewis and Nelon Pascal performed well in Qualifier 1, combined they picked up 1 wicket but was able to contain the free-flowing Warriors batsmen in the back end of the innings. The Blasters bowlers know they will have to be on top of their game if they are to contain the powerful top 3 of the Ginger Generals.

Ginger Generals after brushing aside the Strikers will now set their sights on their matchup against the Blasters, their spin-based bowling attacked were able to restrict the big hitting Saffron Strikers line up to only 79 from their 10 overs, with the luxury of 3 left arm spinners at his disposal, Captain Cato has been able to utilize them effective and with great success. Reynold Charles continues to be the team leading wicket taker with 11 wickets with Kimo Peters only 2 wickets behind.

Kimani Melius the tournament leading runs scorer has been enjoying himself with the bat, he has 3 scores of 50 or more in the tournament and will be looking to take the attack to the Blasters early in the innings, Johann Jeremiah and Roland Cato are also among the leading runs getters. They will be the trio the Generals will be banking on to lead their batting efforts.
