Match Preview: Ginger Generals vs Clove Challengers – 23rd Match Spice Isle T10 3rd Edition

Clove Challengers plays their final first round match with the knowledge that they have already booked their ticket for the top for of the tournament. The Challengers will be looking for another victory to make a push for the top two positions on that table.

The Challengers won their previous encounter against the Nutmeg Warriors defending 88 in what turned out to be a close encounter. Their bowlers as usual was at their customary best which would be pleasing to Captain Mc Sween as the team heads to the knockout phase of the tournament.

The Ginger Generals are eliminated from contention for a top four finish and will look to exit this phase of the tournament with a victory. The Generals would need to be tighter with their bowling if they are to contain a Clove Challengers batting lineup which is growing in confidence. The Generals who are playing for pride can be a dangerous outfit and has what it takes to make it an interesting final match for both teams in their final group match.
